Rhino PipeTube 3m

A redesign of Rhino’s hugely popular Rhino PipeTube 3m since its launch in 2005. The PipeTube Pro is Europe’s new leading system for securely and safely transporting copper pipe, plastic conduit and other lengthy materials.

The new stylish design features an upgraded integral locking system. It also has an added rubber seal to reduce water entering the tube. In addition, the PipeTube Pro retains all the features that made it the product of choice for professional van users. These include market leading carry capacity, twin openings and full professional crash testing and safety accreditation.

The new Pipe Tube pro is available with or with our PVC lining. The lining helps to prevent a galvanic reaction between copper pipe and the raw aluminium (the uncoated aluminium inside of the tube). If there is a galvanic reaction, a build up of residue can leave green marking or discolouration on the items stored inside. The PVC lining provides a barrier and prevents the reaction – protecting your plastic conduit or copper pipes.

The PipeTube comes with our standard fitting bracket that is compatible with all Rhino roof bars/racks and roof storage systems from other manufacturers*.

The rubber O-ring seal is located within the end of the connecting sleeve. This creates a tight seal when the nose cone is close. This helps to prevent water ingress. The O-ring and PVC lining greatly reduce the oxidation process within the tube. Previously, water ingress could have led to a chemical reaction with the aluminium over time, leaving a residue in the tube.

The new nose cone and connecting sleeve have been redesigned so that the lock is housed inside the tube. The new design makes the lock harder to get to and provides a more seamless look and feel.

Please be advised that the Rhino PipeTube is NOT compatible with the following vehicle variants:

- - Mercedes Citan 2022 onwards (tailgate variants)
  - Nissan Townstar 2022 onwards (tailgate variants)
  - Renault Kangoo 3 2021 onwards (tailgate variants)

This is due to interference with the tailgate door when raised.

I highly recommend Lee, Dave and the Team at Vehicle Accessories after they did a fantastic job for a one off bespoke van fit for my business. I approached them with a rather radical high concept idea, Dave did a great job taking notes from my extensive brief. He made a great effort to listen and take notes along the way making sure he understood and made suggestions for materials which really led to a much better end product. A particular highlight was a suggestion for them to fabricate a wall mounted Steal Mesh cage system for my equipment which far exceeded my expectations of quality and engineering. During the planning stage and construction suggestions were made to change materials and systems for what they thought would work better for the project as it developed. The end product was perfect and done to a very high standard, it really turned out better than I ever hoped for. Communication throughout was excellent with regular updates, fast responses and easy dialogue when confirming details or discussing changes. Changes were managed quickly and efficiently throughout the build with a great deal of flexibility and professionalism. Even though I was just having just one bespoke build being done for myself I felt highly valued as a customer and treated with the same level of respect and attentiveness as someone ordering a fleet. The quality of work and customer service will certainly mean I’ll be coming back for my next van project.
